Sheep Camp: Hide Tanning & Introduction to Animal Processing 
August 20th-23rd -- Thursday-Sunday 2026
 
In this 4-day experience each participant will tan their own sheepskin rug using the smoke & mineral combination tan method. Alongside processing your own sheepskin, we'll be harvesting & processing a locally raised sheep to provide our sustenance for the duration of the program. 
 
Participants will have the option to learn about working with different parts of the sheep including the sinew, intestines, brain, stomach, heart, liver, tongue, hide and bones. Interest and time will determine the depth in which we'll dive into hands on learning with different parts of the sheep.
