Cedarwood & Clary Sage Tallow Soap
A beatufiul transformation of often discarded raw cow, pork or deer fat, I chop up and then render into tallow & lard serving as the base on my soap. Then the rendered and purified tallow & lard is combined with herbal infused organic cold-pressed unrefined olive oil, an herbal infusion, lye (sodium hydroxide) and organic essential oils. As this soap is made with herbs and essential oils as the source of fragance, the scents of these simple soaps are more mild than 'typical' soap.
Ingredients: Rendered & purfied grassfed tallow*, pasture raised lard*, local spring water, sodium hydroxide (lye), organic atlas cedarwood & clary sage essential oils

Cedarwood & Clary Sage - Homemade Herbal Tallow Soap
When soap is not in use, store on a dry surface to keep the bar fully dry between uses. This will prevent the soap from discoloring or loosing its firm tecture, in addition to helping the soap last longer. Soap textures and appearances vary slightly due to the creative nature of pouring off soap into molds.
